Single Speed CX is For Real
SSCX don’t need street cred, street cred need SSCX. We have 76 riders registered for the Raleigh Bicycles Single Speed race at StarCrossed. Really? Really? I remember thinking single speed was a niche in a niche when people begged for a single speed race. SSCX is for real for sure. Field limit is 80 riders. Don’t miss one of those last four spots and a chance to automatically qualify for Single Speed Cyclocross World Championships.

We are excited to announce that ContourHD has joined StarCrossed as a sponsor. ContourHD is the World’s First and Smallest wearable video camera. Shimano and PRO join StarCrossed
We are pleased to announce a partnership with Shimano and PRO Components for the 2010 edition of StarCrossed. The Shimano Elite Men and Shimano Elite Women’s races will round out the evening’s action at StarCrossed. Look for a Shimano Di2 hospitality tent at the race, as well as PRO Component loot if you are on the podium!

Stanley Built for Life Tour Coming
Stanley, a brand of PMI, will be bringing the Built for Life Tour to StarCrossed. The tour will showcase legendary adventures of Stanley Food & Beverage Gear and the people who use them, while encouraging consumers to submit their own story for a chance to “Become an Icon”. Rolling into the infield of StarCrossed with be Stanley’s Classic Airstream Trailer / Product Showroom. The “Become an Icon” contest will offer spectators a chance to be selected as The Iconic Stanley Story of the 2010 Built for Life Tour. Contest winner receives a Stanley Legacy Story Icon designed in their honor as well as an Ultimate Adventure Prize Pack featuring over $5,000 in high-performance gear from outdoor goods manufacturers.

Raleigh 2011 RX 1.0 Sneak Peak
Raleigh sent us a sneak peak of the 2011 RX 1.0.
Highlights include:
- New Shaped Aluminum tubing…flattened underside top tube and thinned seat stays to help smooth out some of the trail jarring
- BB30 bottom bracket is lighter and stiffer
- Easton EC70 fork
- Brand New Shimano 105
- Paint scheme is definitely NOT Red, White and Black…like every other cross bike being released
The RX 1.0 will be available for demo throughout the MFG Cyclocross Series.

Star Crossed sponsor Cascade Bicycle Studio is now the exclusive Seattle dealer of Dugast tubulars.
